Hapgood-Wright Town Forest, also commonly called 'Fairyland', is a popular destination of all kinds. Many trails means plentiful hiking and nature walk options. It is also on the route for many joggers, often with their dogs. Fairyland Pond attracts all kinds of wildlife, including beavers. Hapgood-Wright is often used by school groups, including the CCHS Earth Science Program. Trash cans and a map are provided at the entrance.

Parking is available in the main lot on Walden Street, across from the entrance to the high school.
