Russell Orchards' veggies are all "No-Spray" which means they don't use synthetics or other harmful chemicals. They have also begun the official process to become "Certified Organic" for their vegetables. All of their fruit is grown using Integrated Pest Management (IPM), with only a very limited amount of synthetic chemicals to specifically combat the most damaging of pests. In some cases, no sprays whatsoever have been applied, such as with their blueberries and strawberries.
Some of the produce that Russell Orchards offers include over 25 varieties of apples, apricots, arugula, asparagus, beans, beets, blackberries, blueberries, black and red currants, broccoli, cherries, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, gourds, grapes , greens, herbs, honey harvested from their hives, jostaberries, kohlrabi, lettuce, maple syrup, peaches, pears, hot and sweet peppers, plums, pluots, radishes, many colors of raspberries, rhubarb, squash, strawberries, tomatoes, and zucchini.
Cider is available in the store in addition to the locally grown produce as well as several varieties of baked goods fresh from the on-site bakery. Russell Orchards even has its own winery featuring hard cider and wine made on the premises from fruit that is grown right there on the farm.
