Grassroots Actions for Peace is a volunteer group which was first organized at the beginning of the 1991 Gulf War, on the principle that negotiated, non-violent resolutions of conflicts are a better alternative to war. We encourage people to work together at the local level because we believe this is where all movements for change begin.
