Newburyport, MA, 01950Arrowhead Farm practices crop rotation and therefore offers a mix of fruits and vegetables including berries, fresh herbs, garden plants, cut flowers, and forage crops. They also raise beef cattle, hogs, and poultry as well as cultivating honeybees and producing maple syrup. All of this is achieved without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or livestock feed additives.
Recently, Arrowhead Farm has introduced community supported sustainable agriculture. The project is funded by a group of families who have purchased a share of the farm’s crops and livestock and thereby have become directly involved with the production of their food.
