Trinity Episcopal Church, Concord MA.

Friends of Minute Man National Park Winter Lecture presented by Peter Alden of W.Concord.

This is one in a series of talks (others upcoming March 3rd and 17th) sponsored by the friends of MMNP.  His talk will cover topics such as our changing landscapes from forest to fields and farms back to forest, sprawl and soccer fields.  Also discussed will be the return of so many medium and large mammals (and why), all the new Eurasian invasive plants overwhelming our wildlands, all the new Dixie birds (is it climate change, feeders or fruits?), the huge increatse in bird feeding (good or bad?), what birds we've lost and what successes we've had in restoring others. There will be cider and cookies before the program and a book table. See here for more info.
