Wednesday, June 9th at 7:30 PM, the Public Works Commission is holding a Public Hearing at 141 Keyes Road to discuss the Lowell Road sidewalk project.

Since the passage of Article 31, there are hazardous walking conditions (from the top of Lindsay Pond Road to Hugh Cargill) until you get to the safety of the sidewalk.  On a busy road, such as Lowell, walking is just so much safer and more pleasant with a sidewalk beneath your feet.  Having a sidewalk on upper Lowell Road will make our roads safer, connect us to our Town Center, improve our quality of life, contribute to our getting in shape, provide an energy-free means of transportation, and add to our overall sense of community.  We are on the verge of this very exciting community improvement.  Please come to the hearing and support Article 31.
