Conservation Coffee - Round Table Discussion of Conservation-Related Issues Start: 7:30 am End: 8:30 am From Delia Kaye, Natural Resources Director: "Making Population Biology Relevant to Conservation" by Dr. H. Bradley Shaffer Start: 7:30 pm End: 8:30 pm Tuesday, February 2nd at 7:30pm in the Chapel at Concord Academy. Dr. H. Bradley Shaffer, this year's Hrdy Fellow at Harvard's Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology, will be speaking about "Making Population Biology Relevant to Conservation". Turning basic research in ecology, evolution and genetics into concrete conservation management is one of the more elusive goals of conservation biology. Dr. Shaffer will be speaking about this in relation to his studies of the California Tiger Salamander.
