Overview

Concord Conserves developed the carbon calculator and Conservation Challenge for Concord and Carlisle, MA students and residents to lower their impact on the environment as well as learn about how our lifestyles compare to others around the world. 

The calculator and challenge includes 3 parts:

1. The ability to measure the amount of carbon a household uses
2. The ability to choose and quantify reductions of carbon by completing energy saving initiatives from a lengthy list of reductions
3. A 'compete' feature whereby groups can compete against each other to see who can reduce the most.

To make it easier to understand how to use the calculator we have created guides for students, teachers, parents and residents.

Household Contest - Win $300

All participants will be entered in a raffle for $300 to be used towards weatherizing their home or business.
